Graeme became a livestock representative when he contacted ANZCO to express his interest in the role including how to select top quality livestock produced by New Zealand farmers. He has been in the farming industry his whole life, having grown up on the family farm, which gave him a good knowledge of the industry and allowed him to notice the signs of a high-quality lamb.
The selection process Graeme uses is looking for good muscle structure, and a healthy colouring. This allows him to pick which lambs are in their prime and will produce the most mouthwatering cuts.
Graeme finds the most enjoyable part of his job to be dealing with the different farmers as they share the same love for farming and producing top quality meat for people all around the world to enjoy.
